Engineering is responsible for planning the design for every project. This department establishes a design plan by identifying design activities and assigning responsibilities for those tasks. This planning includes:

  • Scheduling the required design and development tasks in coordination with Project Management.

  • Assigning responsibility for implementation of required tasks to qualified personnel, ensuring they're equipped with the necessary resources.

  • Defining test procedures and methods appropriate to each design and development stage.

  • Defining control, organization and technical interfaces between appropriate departments and with the customer.

  • Establishing a design schedule that includes design review activity and periodic updates as the design progresses.
