The Project Engineer (PE) reviews the scope of each project and is responsible for the Engineering Department's activities on the project with respect to objectives and schedules. The PE works closely with the Project Manager throughout the design phase and resolves any engineering issues arising from the process of interpreting the specifications and project scope.

All design output needed to manufacture and test the equipment is provided by the PE to Manufacturing. Throughout the life of the project, the PE ensures compliance with all defined military specifications and standards. The PE reviews all Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO), initiates required changes to originally defined design output, and maintains documented evidence of design changes.
