The Quality Assurance (QA) representative is responsible for ensuring that all project functions related to Quality Assurance are communicated to and performed by the appropriate department members.

These project functions include:

• Inspecting project development.



• Completing specific test plans and reports.



• Ensuring the latest product drawings, bills of material and work instructions are provided to Production personnel.



• Generating Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) when the equipment design output requires modification.



• Communicating any problems related to quality to the Project Manager (PM).

The other key function of the QA representative is serving as the liaison with the government inspection agency.
